Avocado Deviled Egg

I made deviled eggs for the first time and really liked it. I’m sure this is not the main way of making it but seeing as I’m on the Dr Oz 28-day shrink your stomach challenge I decided to try this as seen on the Dr Oz show. I substituted the cayenne spice for smoke paprika though. I saved half of the left over mixture for toast bread tomorrow. That’s why I have two eggs per person in this recipe because each person will be eating a quarter of an avocado.

Ingredients, Serves 2

4 hard boiled Eggs, halved
1 Avocado, pitted and mashed
ΒΌ tsp Black Pepper
ΒΌ tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Mustard

Method

Scoop the egg yolks into the mashed avocado. Next add the black pepper, smoked paprika and mustard to the avocado and mustard, mixing it all together until it’s smooth. Using a teaspoon, scoop the mixture into the caved part of the egg white. You could use the remaining mixture for more deviled eggs, as a spread with toast, or as a dip. Enjoy!
